7 Ways to Make More Time & Be Less Stressed

Is every weekend booked out and every week night full of extra junk that never gives you a chance to sit down? Maybe it’s time to carve out time for your own thing.

A lot of this stuff is going to sound very selfish, but chances are if you’re reading this you’re probably a real nice person who spends their time on other people. It’s ok to take time out for yourself to recharge sometimes!

Just Say No

This is the biggest one, which is why I started with it. I didn’t wanna string you along. You’re under no obligation to do anything for anyone. Someone wants you to help move their precious collection of bowling balls? You’re busy that weekend doing nothing for a change. Don’t feel guilty. You need some time for yourself to do what you want, and you can always help them another time!

This counts for weekends as well, You don’t need to go out every time someone asks you to come party.

Delegate

Do you really need to do all this stuff? Could someone else take care of it more efficiently and quickly? This is when you hope other people haven’t read the first point on this list. But just remember, you aren’t alone and you don’t need to do everything by yourself.

 

Keep a Clear Desk

Deal with things immediately before it becomes a daunting unmanageable pile of bills and library debts. If you need to get a filing system to put all that stuff afterwards so you can stop worrying about it. Its also a great way to keep your place clean of scrappy power bills and crap.
