For a couple of weeks now absolutely everyone on the internet has been talking about nothing but the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. I’ll be the first to admit that there is something about those angel wings and that fantasy bra that I just can’t resist, however you can’t blame people for looking at the show and getting kind of angry at the body stereotypes that it portrays.
Taking a stand against the idea that you must have a certain type of body to be attractive, BuzzFeed gathered up a group of real women and decided to produce their own Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The models came from all walks of life and were of varying sizes. Plus sized model Tess Holiday even made an appearance in the show.
Here’s hoping that one day the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show might start to look a little more like this.
