These Are The Best Workouts For People Who Hate Exercise

While the world is becoming increasingly #fitspo there are definitely people out there who basically have always and will always hate exercise. Sore knees, asthma or just not motivated – whatever your reason for choosing Netflix over the gym, there are a lot of people out there who are in the same boat as you.

No matter how much you think you hate working out, the good news is that there is a form of exercise out there that you will enjoy – it’s just a matter of finding what’s right for you. Here are some ideas to get you started.

1. If you hate the gym…

Try getting outside and going for a good old fashioned walk. Walking is great because it can be done anywhere, anytime and it can even be incorporated into your existing routine e.g. walking to work. Safe for people with creaky joints, walking will also help you to build cardiovascular endurance.

2. If you hate team sports…

Try going for a bike ride. Biking is a great way to build muscle tone and because the muscle group that biking uses is the largest in your body, it burns serious calories.

3. If you would rather spend time with your significant other…

Try taking a ballroom dancing class. It may sound kind of out there, but dancing is a great way to increase balance and coordination, all while being a fun bonding exercise for you and your partner.
