To try and adopt this diet more increase your intake of fish, healthy pasta (wholegrain), vegetables, olive oil, fruits and nuts. Also try to go vegetarian 90 per cent of the time. If cutting out meat altogether seems like a daunting task just try having meatless Mondays or something similar. Lowering the amount of meat you eat will help with heartburn.
