Katy Perry launched a makeup line with Cover Girl earlier this year but has been accused of ripping off Hard Candy’s logo design. TMZ reports that Hard Candy is suing CoverGirl’s parent company Procter & Gamble for infringing on their designs and has asked for all of her products to be taken off the shelves. They’ve also requested to be paid a cut of the profits.
Though TMZ is yet to be sure of what it is they are accusing KP’s cosmetic line of infringing on, they are assuming it is the heart logo that features as a central insignia.
