Well, this is just pure ingenuity. Most of us would’ve thought that the reason for the hole in the middle of your spaghetti spoon is to drain the water… Which, I’m sure is one of the functions for it. However, Imgur user PolarChi uploaded the following photos to explain the “real” or other reason for it.
PolarChi explains in the caption, “Did you know, that the hole in your spaghetti spoon holds the recommended portion for one serving size of spaghetti.” Some have the gift of being able to pick out the perfect serving of pasta. I, on the other hand, do not. My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I often end up throwing those precious noodles away. I’m so stoked to have found this tip out! No more wasting spaghetti!
