Blake Lively Just Revealed Some Exciting News About The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 3

In case you missed it a third installment of the The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is ‘definitely’ going to happen. News that made our day and brought back beautiful memories of the watching the first and second movies in our teens while deciding what would become our version of the traveling pants.

OF course, news of revivals can leave us a little skeptical (thanks Sex and the City 3), but this movie has been confirmed not by one of the girls, but by three.

Amber Tamblyn, who played Tibby Rollins, told E! she had no information about the release date, but said “I can obviously tell you that something is definitely in the works.”

Then America Ferrera, who played Carmen Lowell, revealed last year that a script was being written.

Now, Blake Lively has dished even more goss on the impending movie. She spoke to SiriusXM’s Entertainment Weekly Radio and confirmed everything.

“The four of us are still best friends and to be able to create something together again has always been a dream of ours. But it would have to be something that really made sense. If you wait this long to do a third movie, it needs to honor the story and the legacy.”

“We wouldn’t be making a movie for 16-year-olds again,” Lively explained. “We would be making a movie trusting that our audience grew up with us. I think that would be really interesting to explore.”

So much excitement!
