Chrissy Teigen Just Got Super Honest About How Celebs Lose Baby Weight

Celebrities that have babies are always plastered over the internet, commended for the speed in which they ‘bounce back to their pre-baby weight’. Not only is this incredibly annoying, but it is giving women (especially new mums) unrealistic expectations and unnecessary pressure for them getting back to their pre-baby weight.

Chrissy spoke to the Today show and gave us all a bit of a reality check.

“Anyone in the public eye, we have all the help we could ever need to be able to shed everything,” she said. “So I think people get this jaded sensation that everybody’s losing it so quickly, but we just happen to be the ones who are out there. We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have trainers, we have our own schedules, we have nannies. We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that’s normal, or like that’s realistic.”

Nutritionists, dietitians, trainers and nannies – imagine how much we could get done with all of these things!

Chrissy is no stranger to keeping it real, sharing earlier this year that herself and John had picked the gender of their baby and also her tweets about what it is like being a new mum.
