If you are anything like me on a weekend your favourite thing to do it make a nest, make a pot of tea and not leave your bed. Because on the weekend the outside world doesn’t exist! Not only is this a way to save money on the weekend, but it is also a way to get some much needed ‘me time’.
Pop on a face mask, slather your feet in moisturiser and pop on your socks and enjoy a little DIY spa time, while reliving some of the greatest love stories.
Here is a list of our favourite movies from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
Dirty Dancing (1987)
“Nobody puts Baby in the corner”
Pretty Woman (1990)
“I want the fairytale”
Sam: “I love you, Molly. I’ve always loved you.”
“When you give up your dream, you die.”
When Harry met Sally (1989)
” I love that you get cold when it’s 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you’re looking at me like I’m nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it’s not because I’m lonely, and it’s not because it’s New Year’s Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”
