Let’s be honest, if we were to rate our favourite online shopping store it would be ASOS. Everything is in one place, especially now that they have an activewear category.
Sadly, our favourite store is receiving a bit of hate …
In the hope to make your shopping even easier, ASOS has added a new feature, which is said to help you figure out what size you need. They have added a new sizing function that uses details of your previous purchases and recommends which size you need in your new purchase. Sounds great, right?
Unfortunately, instead of making people praise them, people got pretty mad.
ASOS is trying to say I’m a size 14. I’ll have you know a 12 is too big at the waist but I need it for my bum/thighs. 😂

That size select feature on ASOS is making my self esteem just that much lower when it suggests that they don’t have a size for me thanks

I can see why people are annoyed, considering the amount in which clothes vary in sizes it is pretty exhausting to figure out what fits you and very few people like to be told they need to go up a size – even though we all know the size doesn’t mean anything it can be disheartening.
Of course, there were some people who applauded the site and it’s attempts.
That new tool on asos to help you choose a size depending on your height and weight is SO helpful

The new size recommender on @ASOS is pretty cool. Even if it’s not perfect I appreciate them using their data on customer returns👌

At the end of the day, ASOS will have my heart when it comes to online shopping and if this new feature means I have a better chance of clothes fitting on their arrival – I’m in!
