Your Favourite Global Fashion Brand Is Set To Open A Store In Christchurch

It’s been a big year in the fashion stakes this year with two fashion giants gracing our shores as well as Mecca Maxima opening, which caused beauty fanatics to lose their minds. Now, news has broken that our favourite global fashion brand will be joining Mecca Maxima in Christchurch. Start saving your pennies ladies and gentlemen, because H&M is opening in Christchurch.

In a statement released today, H&M announced that they are proud to be expanding into the South Island with the opening of a store at The Crossing in the CBD.

The store is set to open in 2017, no news yet on whether it will be early or late – watch this space!

H&M is known for affordable, high fashion and quality basics  that are produced in a sustainable way – it scored a B+ on a Baptist World Aid survey and was on Oxfam’s nice list this year.

The fashion brand entered New Zealand earlier this year when it opened in Sylvia Park Shopping Centre in Auckland. The lines were long for weeks as people flocked from all over to snap up some new fashion – no doubt it will be the same when the fashionistas down south get a chance.

With everything from day to night pieces, swimwear and athleisure wear, the brand also boasts adorable children’s clothing. RIP savings.
