British/Turkish Cypriot fashion designer Hussein Chalayan is famous for pushing the boundaries on the ideas of fashion by fusing them with technological and scientific elements. At Paris Fashion Week, he did not fail to surprise us with an artistic spectacle. For his S/S 16 collection, Chalayan sent two models on the runway wearing crisp white shirtdresses. When the models were rained on, the water-soluble dresses dissolved, revealing gorgeous gowns decorated with black stitching, white applique petals embellished with Swarovski crystals.
