Judge Tells Bindi Irwin She Needs To Prove Her Father is Dead To be Paid For “Dancing With The Stars”

A judge has reportedly ruled that Bindi Irwin needs to prove her father’s death before she can be awarded her pay of $230,000 for Dancing With the Stars.

The report states that lawyers for the show submitted a minor’s contract to an L.A. Superior Court judge which is required as Bindi is only 17 years old. Terri Irwin signed that she gives up all rights to the money that Bindi will earn from the tv show, however, it is said that judge requires the same release from Steve Irwin.

With no proof that Bindi’s father will give up his rights to her money, the judge ruled that “the court is unable to find that it is in the best interest of the minor to be bound by the terms of the contract.”

According to TMZ, It is unclear if his death certificate will suffice, or if the judge has zero clue about who Steve Irwin is.
