Kate Winslet first won us over with her incredible, but heartbreaking, performance in Titanic, and last night she did it again. This time standing up for women who have ever been subject to criticism.
The actress dedicated her recent Bafta win to all women who have ever been subject to criticism, revealing that she was criticised abut her weight at a young age.
Kate told the Guardian she was 14 when her drama teacher told her she might do OK if she were to “settle for fat girl parts.”
Kate won the Bafta for best supporting actress at the 69th British Academy Film Awards ceremony, for her role in Steve Jobs.
