Jack Quaid has big shoes to live up to in the acting world, and it looks like his latest role as an ad exec delving into the world of sex drugs and rock’n’ roll will earn him the golden ticket.
The 23-year-old is the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, which is not hard to tell considering he is the splitting image of both of his parents.
Jack stars in HBO’s highly-anticipated series Vinyl, about the drug-fueled music scene in gritty 1970s New York, which premiered on February 14.
While he has kept a relatively low profile until now, this role sees him working alongside Martin Scorsese – something that his parents must be super proud of.
“He’s a really funny person, and he doesn’t do that “I’m Martin Scorsese, bow down to me” kind of thing. He’s a very humble, very nice guy — just a film nut whose passion leads to getting great work out of people,” he told Nylon .
Jack is no stranger to classic rock, having gone to a secret Rolling Stones show with his dad when he was just 11-years-old.
“I’m not sure how I got into a bar, but I did—watching this legendary band play all of their hits. It was incredible.”
At least he was prepared for his role from a very young age.
