The New Zealand styling duo Dylan Richards and Sebastain Hunt have recently been hired to style for legendary artist and rapper Kanye West and pop culture icon Kim Kardashian.
The pair were first recognized by the rapper when they styled the Justin Bieber Sorry music video, featuring none other than New Zealand’s own ReQuest Dance Crew and Royal Family Mega Crew. The music video was filmed in Auckland, giving Dylan and Sebastian the opportunity to dress the dancers in the colorful get ups featured in the dance video, which has now reached over a billion views.
Shortly after the “Sorry” release, the pair were directly contacted by Kanye West and flown out to LA the next day. They are now officially working for the West/Kardashian clan, and also giving a helping hand to up and coming New Zealand designers though their platform.
Kim Kardashian recently sported a leather jacket with her face hand painted all over it, created by the New Zealand label Blue Blank, with the piece also featuring on a few of the latest Keeping up with the Kardashians episodes.
Popular local lingerie label Lonely Hearts has also been used for the stylists work, as they continue to represent New Zealand fashion during their continuing success.
