The new byte-sized technology event happens in September. CreativeTech is a new technology forum about all things Apple being held at AUT’s Auckland City campus on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 September.
The first of its kind in Australasia, the event sponsored by AUT and Vodafone is targeting Apple fans and users of all kinds from mum and dad at-home users, to educators and students, web developers and designers, musicians and filmmakers.
It offers a broad mix of ‘byte-sized’ talks or presentations, from practical ‘how to’ showcases of the latest Apple, Adobe, FileMaker and Microsoft software, to advanced developing for the iPhone and iPad, and expert insights into tomorrow’s technologies.
With something for everyone, topics include movie making, photography, music, design, developing, business administration, e-learning and more.
Keynote speakers ‘futurist’ Mark Pesce and MacTheMag (and former Australian Macworld) editor Matthew JC Powell offer expert insights into tomorrow’s technologies and the future of Apple.
While other speakers include 22 year old Australians and successful iPhone developers (Soulver and Picturesque) Zac Cohan and Nik Youdale; KIWA Media VP and QBook developer Roger Shakes; triathlete and iPhone developer Rob Beck; Lee Herbet from Renaissance; and Philip Fierlinger from Xero.
Attendees can also check out the very latest in software, applications, mobile and gaming technology.
