The ad that has changed the playing field for campaigning.
In an effort to win over the last remaining undecided voters, Obama has wheeled out the big gun of political advertising: A 30-minute campaign advertisment that ran over seven American network and cable television stations on Wednesday, October 29 at a cost of $4 million dollars. The slick production pieced together footage of Obama's campaign travels around the country and delivering his best speeches and debates.
Obama and McCain were both in Florida when the advertisment aired. McCain earlier told his supporters: "When you're watching this gauzy, feel-good commercial, just remember that it was paid for with broken promises."
Promises broken or otherwise, the advertisment highlights the extent of Obama's campaign cash and his support.
