After the successful launch of the Ray-Ban Rare Prints collection, the iconic brand called upon graffiti artist and designer, Matt Moore, to create an exclusive print that will be available only at Sunglass Hut stores worldwide this Spring Summer.
Matt Moore is the founder of MWM Graphics, a design and illustration studio based in Portland, Maine. Matt works across disciplines, from colourful digital illustrations in his signature “Vectorfunk” style, to freeform watercolor paintings, and massive aerosol murals. MWM exhibits his artwork in galleries all around the world, and collaborates with clients in all sectors.
A process of experimentation led to Moore’s lauded signature “Vectorfunk” style of digital illustration, inspired by abstract geometry, vibrant colour combinations, dynamic compositions, depth and contrast. He also works across the spectrum of design and art disciplines - from canvas paintings to textile or apparel design and identity work. “Collaborating with Ray-Ban was a lot of fun,” said Matt Moore, “and to see the finished product on the shelves of a big retailer, like Sunglass Hut, allows my work to reach the masses.”
The Ray-Ban Rare Prints Wayfarer created by Matt Moore will be available in three color variations: black outside with exclusive “Vectorfunk” print inside, pink outside with exclusive “Vectorfunk” print inside, and exclusive “Vectorfunk” print outside with black inside.
