The collection, which debuted at New Zealand Fashion Week 2011 consists of rings, bracelets and a key chain, and features designs from Workshop’s collaborations with New Zealand artists and designers.  This first collection showcases the work of Martin Poppelwell.

“It was very inspiring to collaborate with one of New Zealand’s biggest fashion houses and one of my favourite New Zealand artists,” says Wunderkammer’s Zora.

“I’ve been contemplating a jewellery line for some time now,” says Chris Cherry, and “Zora was the perfect collaborator. I was delighted when she agreed to come on board.”

Made from sterling silver, bronze and recycled gold, the pieces are a reinterpretation of classic men’s styles.  Each piece has an artisanal quality, hand-cast and hand-finished with no two exactly the same.

The collection features patterned or engraved signet rings, each referencing iconic Workshop prints from the past and present.  It also includes a series of skull rings and rough-hewn stackable bands.

Wunderkammer for Workshop is available at Workshop’s four stores in Vulcan Lane, Newmarket, Ponsonby and Wellington.
