These Are The Hottest Baby Names For 2016

In 2015, the most popular baby names of the year, according to BabyCenter, was Sophia and Jackson. Sophia has been running as the go-to name for 6 years and Jackson for 3 years.

However, there’s been a shift in the trend. Nameberry, an online baby name database, saw the biggest spike in the past 30 days. Parents aren’t limiting themselves to gender stereotypes and going for unisex names.

Riley and Rowan are popular with girls while Logan and Charlie are popular for boys.

Astrid has been popular in Sweden for a while and is now gaining momentum in the U.S. with 101% in popularity online.
