This Young Gymnast’s Floor Routine Has Gone Viral With Its Flips, Whips and Nae Naes

UCLA Bruins gymnast Sophina DeJesus combines the Dab, Hit the Quan and Whip, Nae Nae to perform a near-flawless floor routine that left the crowd in awe.

These moves might sound like complex twists and tumbles, but they are actually some of the hottest hip-hop dance moves around. If they sound like gibberish to you, here is a quick recap and a lesson for your newest dance moves.

The routine saw Sophina walk away with a 9.925 from the judges and nothing but love from the crowd — and fans at home, with her video racking up over 17 million views.

“I love dancing,” DeJesus told the New York Times, “I wanted to end my senior year with a bang.”

Her decision to try the unorthodox routine could have backfired, instead, it nearly broke the Internet.
