Bachelor NZ Star Announces Engagement

Whether you like to admit it or not, we are all kind of obsessed with the Bachelor NZ. It all started with Art and Matilda and then season two introduced us to the man we love to hate, Jordan.

We are so pleased to announce that over the weekend, one of our favourite season 2 Bachelorettes got engaged! Model, actress and designer, Claudia Conaglen, announced her engagement on Saturday via Instagram with a stunning picture of her ring, at Shine Falls.

I said YES? to the man of my dreams. I am truely blessed and grateful to have met such an amazing guy ?

Her fiance is Paul ‘Bluely’ Ejamme, an insurance and mortgage adviser. On her blog Claudia explains that the pair met at her 30th birthday party. “My plan was to have my 30th birthday in New Zealand then move back to Bali,” she wrote on her blog. “My good friend Mo who hosted my white 30th birthday bash brought this handsome tan, blue eyed man to my party. He introduced himself to me as Paul aka Bluey.”

After leaving the Bachelor NZ, Claudia explains that she planned to have a break from dating and meeting Paul was completely unexpected. “It amazes me how life changes so quickly,” she wrote. “One minute you are single and on a TV show and then the next you are with the man of your dreams. I am so grateful for Mo for introducing Bluey to me at my party. It so nice to meet someone that has the same interests as you.”

Claudia Conaglen was a contestant on season 2 of the Bachelor NZ and became well known for causing a stir early on in the season alongside fellow Bachelorette, Naz. Since leaving the show Claudia has been working as a model, brand ambassador and fashion designer for her own label, Tahira Collection.

It goes to show, sometimes love comes along when you are least expecting it. Congratulations to the happy couple!
