Dove is on a mission to stop people from telling women they’re “too pretty” to do things

Have you ever been told that you are “too pretty,” “too fat,” or “too masculine” to do something? Dove has just launched a campaign that asks people to stop judging women’s abilities based on what they look like.

The campaign that is based around the #MyBeautyMySay hashtag, features a range of women who tell of how they overcame being judged based on their looks.

The campaign features Heather Hardy, a boxing champion who was told that she is “too pretty to fight,” Jessica Torres, a fashion blogger who was told “only skinny girls can dress well,” and Rain Dove, a genderqueer model who was called “boyish and ugly.”

Each woman explains why their looks do not define them and declares that they are proud of their beauty.

You go girls. SLAY.
