We’ve officially hit February and true to form, things are starting to get pretty damn hot. If you’re desperate to cool down and sitting in the shade just isn’t cutting it anymore, you my friend, need a very cold, wine based drink. Enter watermelon frosé.
Last year saw the rise of the heavenly nectar that is frosé (frozen rosé) and now that we are all well and truly accustomed to its charms, people are starting to branch out and create their own summer frosé variations. This particular recipe makes the most of the super cheap price of watermelon right now and of course, it totally counts as at least one serving of fruit! Cheers!
5 cubes of watermelon with seeds removed
20ml sugar syrup
1. Put all ingredients into a blender
2. Add one heaped scoop of ice.
3. Blend the mixture for 30 seconds or until the mixture is at your desired consistency.
4. Garnish with a slice of watermelon and enjoy!
