Get ready ladies, because your biggest guilty pleasure is coming back for another season. Over the weekend it was announced that The Bachelor NZ will be returning for another season and I’m sure I’m not alone when I say, OMG yes.
After the last season of the show ended in tears, with Jordan Mauger dumping Fleur Verhoeven just days after she was crowned the winner of the show, show organisers are keen for this season to be slightly more successful.
“New Zealanders love to immerse themselves in a prospective love story and so far we’ve had a pretty good relationship hit rate,” says MediaWorks chief content officer Andrew Szusterman. “In 2017 we’re aiming for two out of three.”
While the identity of the new bachelor will be kept under wraps until the series launches next year, castings for bachelorettes are now open.
“The search is now on for eligible women who are looking for true love on the new season of TV3’s hit show,” the website reports. “Are you a single 22-32 year old female, ready to genuinely look for love, and take up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Do you have the charm, charisma and energy to be our next star, or know someone who does?”
Do you fit the description? Head over to The Bachelor NZ website to register. You never know – you could find your special someone! Or at least get a few free dinners…
