Meghan Trainor Pulls Her MV Over Dramatically Digitally Downsized Waist

Meghan Trainor premiered the music video for Me Too on Monday, however, she has since pulled the video off YouTube and Vevo as she was digitally downsized dramatically. Trainor told USA TODAY,  “I saw fans posting it and was like, ‘Why are fans ruining my waist? Are you kidding?’”

“Then I went to the video and was like, ‘Oh my god.’ I texted the editors like, ‘I never asked you to touch my waist. I want my waist back.’“

A new, un-altered video was out on Tuesday and she shared a side-by-side photo comparing the two on Instagram. She also explained on Snapchat, “they photoshopped the crap out of me and I’m so sick of it and I’m over it, so I took it down until they fix it. My waist is not that teeny. I had a bomb waist that night. I don’t know why they didn’t like my waist but I didn’t approve of that video and it went out for the world so I’m embarrassed.”

The real #metoo video is finally up! Missed that bass. Thank you everyone for the support ?

When she spotted the unauthorized touch-ups floating around on social media, Trainor said, “I screamed in my hotel room,”

“I was like, ‘Why would they do this?’ I cried. I had to try not to cry because I had my (makeup) done, and was like, ‘Don’t ruin this. Go work and ignore it,’ but I couldn’t help it. I (posted a video) on Snapchat and was like, ‘Hey, took down my video because people are still breaking me and Photoshopping me and I’m sick of it. I’m over it. I’m so done.’ “
