America’s Next Top Model is back, but it’s not going to be the same. Tyra Banks spoke to USA Today about the show’s new identity and finding its place on VH1, “It’s no longer just about having the highest cheekbones and best pout and the best hair,”
“My goal is to really get into these girls’ heads that I’m not looking for some successful model and I’m not looking for some social-media star. I’m looking for both. I’m looking for a hybrid, because that’s where the world is.”
Tyra Banks has handed down the role of host to 25-year-old Rita Ora and Ashley Graham will join the judging panel, USA Today reports. The other judges include Drew Elliot, chief creative officer of Paper and celebrity stylist Law Roach. Banks will remain as the executive producer of the show and is set to make a few appearances.
