Art Green is Worried About his Handsome Face in his Upcoming Fight with Zac Guildford

Arthur Green will fight former All Black Zac Guildford at Fight for Life for three two-minute rounds in Claudelands Arena in Hamilton on December 5th. Arthur admitted that he nearly turned down his opponent, “When they found Zac Guildford I was like, s**t. I was actually contemplating saying no,” he said to Stuff.

Green’s coach and trainer, Monty Bethan convinced him to take on the match and has been training at Ludus Magnus gym in Auckland. He said at the stare-down that he’s worried about damaging his good-looking “money-maker” face in the boxing ring. “I am significantly worried about my face.”

Arthur has had no experience of fighting, “I’ve never boxed before, I’ve never been punched before, so learning to keep my eyes open is going to be pretty big.”

Guildford, on the other hand said he has been “cleaned up on the street a few times”.  He also said he’s not intimated despite Arthur’s height and longer reach.

May the odds be ever in your favour.
