Cameron Diaz’s Support After Drew Barrymore’s Divorce Is The Definition of Friendship

Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore first defined friendship in Charlie’s Angels, where they proved friends are there for each other no matter what – including when your best friend gets abducted by her crazy ex-boyfriend. Their friendship has gone from screen to reality, with Cameron being a bridesmaid at Drew’s wedding. From trips to wineries to support for each others endeavor, these angels stick together.

During Drew’s recent divorce Cameron has been there for her friend, something she shared with Andy Cohen during his Sirius XM show, Radio Andy.

“Everybody pulls the wagons around [for] our friends, whoever needs us at whatever point in time…Even if it’s something that the public doesn’t know about. Internally we’re all going, ‘Okay, who needs us now?'”

“We’ve been in this industry for a really long time together, and that’s a feat,” she said. “To have people that you’ve known for that long, those are real relationships, real friendships. We’ve gone through a lot in life together. As you get older you start to lose people in your life, and when you lose people in your life, you have less of a purpose. So it’s really, really important to stay engaged.”
