Marc Jacobs: A Modern Return of the Classic

Marc Jacobs introduces his new fragrance Mod Noir.  After successfully launching his makeup line with Sephora, the new Eau de Parfum is a Sephora exclusive. Inspired by the 60’s “Mod” fashion, the bottle is a bold and graphic black and white with a shiny over-shell cap that sits atop a frosted glass bottle. The “juice” opens with sparkling clementine, exotic yuzu and dewy greens, which then bring out the classic mid notes of fresh gardenia petals, floating water lilies, airy magnolia and sheer tuberose. The base notes have dry with musk, orange blossom and fresh nectarine.

On another note, aren’t these Marc Jacob’s Spring 2008 heels just brilliantly unusual? They’re so chic, bold and unique – I can feel its spirit. It embodies refined simplicity and brings back a classic look with a modern edge. You could obliterate the world with poise and sophistication with some midi-length culottes and a pair of these.
