Just when you thought the trend of Instagramming food may finally be slowing down, new research suggests we should all be doing more of it – especially if we want to eat healthier!
In a recent study published by the Journal of Consumer Marketing, researchers have found that food really does taste better when we Instagram it.
The study, which examined the correlation between taste and photography, also found that those who took photos of ‘healthier foods’ before eating them rated those foods higher than those who didn’t take a photo.
It is theorised that delaying the act of eating, even for a short moment, leads to a more positive perception of a meal.
