Parents Take Candid Pictures of Their Children With an Active WWII Bomb

Spotted at a beach in Carmarthenshire, Wales, this mysterious object was captured in a candid photograph with two children. Mistakenly judged as an old buoy, 6-year-old Erin and 4-year-old Ellis were playing with this deadly weapon that had accumulated a thick layer of barnacles on it. Determined to be a 70-year-old mine from World War II, the beach was closed and the bomb squad arrived to trigger a detonation of this historic and dormant bomb.
